Is a high trust score a guarantee?

No. A trust score sums up what players report about a site. It cannot tell you how your own order will go. Sites with high scores have let people down, and sites with low scores have served people fine. Use the score as one input. Read the reviews and the facts we checked below it, then decide for yourself.

Who writes the summaries on a site's page?

AI does, from material we hold. The summary of what players say is written from that site's TrustPlay reviews, and it says so under the text. The short facts at the top of a page are written from the longer answers further down, which we checked ourselves.

Do we earn money from the sites we list?

Sometimes. Some links to the sites we list are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy something after clicking one. It costs you nothing extra. A page with such a link says so under its buttons. Sites can also pay a fee to be listed, and we may sell sponsored spots in some lists, which are always labelled. None of this changes a site's trust score or its own place in a ranked list. The score comes from reviews, and the order follows the score.

Are we connected to the sites or the game publishers?

No. TrustPlay does not own, run or endorse any site we list. Game names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners, and we use them only to say what a site sells. We have no ties to Valve, Riot Games, Epic Games, Roblox Corporation, Blizzard or any other publisher.

Can trading get your game account banned?

Yes. Buying, selling or trading in-game items often breaks a game publisher's terms, and the publisher can suspend or ban the account for it. That risk is yours, however well a marketplace treats you.

What about the gambling sites?

Some of the sites we list offer gambling, and you can lose money there. Gambling has age limits and is illegal in some countries, so check what applies where you live. If it stops being fun, stop. BeGambleAware and similar services in your country offer free help.

Where do the ratings from other platforms come from?

From review platforms such as Trustpilot. We show each one with its source and the date we last read it. Those platforms have their own methods and their own moderation, and we control neither. A number can change between our checks.
