Gaming marketplaces are everywhere, but figuring out which ones are legitimate isn't easy. Reviews are scattered across different platforms, and none of them are built for gamers. We started TrustPlay to fix that.
The gaming marketplace industry is largely unregulated, and scams are common. Our 2025 research found that over a third of marketplace users have been scammed at least once. That's not a small problem.
TrustPlay gives you a single place to check whether a site is trustworthy before you hand over your money or items.
General review sites like Trustpilot aren't built for gaming. You can't filter by which games a site supports, what services they offer, or what payment methods they accept. We can.
We aggregate reviews from Trustpilot, Sitejabber, ScamAdviser, Reviews.io, RealReviews.io, and our own community. Then we add the context that actually matters to gamers: service types, supported games, security features, and more.
Our Trust Scores combine all of this into a single 0-100 rating that reflects what a site is like right now, not three years ago.
Every review on TrustPlay comes from a user who signed in through Steam or Google. This keeps out fake reviews and ensures feedback comes from real people.
TrustPlay is based in Denmark and operates independently. We don't accept payment for higher scores. What you see is based on data and user experiences, nothing else. Our Trust Score is 100% algorithmically controlled with no human intervention.
